I have been in early childhood education for 30 plus years. I am from Pennsylvania and go back to visit as often as I can to see my brothers and their families. I graduated from James Madison University. I started to teach when Kindergarten was first placed in the Virginia school system in Westmoreland County. This is were I met my husband, who is now retired from the U.S. Government. We have lived in Northern Virginia for the past 29 years. I have two children. James has completed his Master's degree in English at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has accepted a job at Belville Middle School. My daughter, Sara is working on her Master's degree at George Mason University and is teaching first grade at Occoquan Elementary. The children at Kerrydale are the loves of my life and I enjoy watching them as they move from grade to grade.
